The objective of our Department is to provide the most efficient and safe transportation possible for our students.
Currently, HUSD provides services to those students who live inside and outside Holtville boundaries, as well as all our special needs students.
Bus registration for all riders must be completed prior to riding the bus; forms are available from your school site. Students must be registered for the bus by their parents.
The HUSD Transportation Department provides routes and approved bus stops at designated locations.
All school bus drivers are qualified and must perform their duties as stipulated by the California State Highway Patrol, California School Laws and the U.S. Department of Transportation. In addition, all school bus drivers receive continuous in-service training regarding the safe methods of operating a school bus.
