About Holtville Unified School District
The Holtville Unified School District, established in 1906, encompasses approximately 562 square miles in the southeast portion of the County of Imperial. The District is located in and serves the City of Holtville and certain adjacent unincorporated areas of the County. HUSD operates the following schools:
Finley Elementary School (Kinder through 5th Grade)
Pine School, (Kinder through 8th Grade)
Holtville Middle School, (6th through 8th Grades)
Holtville High School, (9th through 12th Grades)
Sam Webb Continuation High School, (9th through 12th Grades)
Freedom Academy of Imperial Valley, (Kinder through 12th Grade)
Holtville Adult Education School
Enrollment in the District totaled 1,578 students in December of 2018, with an “LCAP unduplicated” student percentage of approximately 79%.
While the District has received numerous awards and distinctions throughout its history, HUSD is especially proud to be awarded the California Department of Education 2018 California Exemplary District Award.
