Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement
One area of increasing importance in our schools today is the use of technology. As an educational institution, HUSD recognizes the importance of the use of technology to ensure that Holtville students are utilizing the latest technological resources in order to be college and career ready in our age of technological advancement. However, it is also imperative that the District establish acceptable rules and regulations to simultaneously safeguard students from dangerous content, as well as the school environment from misuse of technology.
In accordance with California Education Code 48901.5, the District has established local board policy (BP 6163.4) to address the issue of technology use on school campuses and during school events. Attached is the District's Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement that is required of all Holtville students. If you have further questions on the policy or agreement, please contact your child's school site administrator at the school office.
